What is Alex Toning?
Alex Toning is
a treatment using the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength, which has a high absorption rate in melanin,
a low-power pigment toning.
Conventional laser toning primarily uses the 1064nm wavelength,
which causes relatively less irritation and is suitable for repeated treatments,
but often requires many sessions
or may feel slow in improving superficial pigmentation.
In contrast, Alex Toning
utilizes the 755nm wavelength, which has high melanin reactivity,
like blemishes, freckles, hyperpigmentation, and dull tone,
more clearly targets pigments located close to the skin surface.
It is especially recommended for those who have consistently received laser toning but
still have remaining pigmentation,
or whose skin tone still appeared dull.
Advantages of Alex Toning
is that it targets those pigments that conventional laser toning found challenging,
once again with the 755nm Alexandrite wavelength.
Additionally, during the treatment, fine facial vellus hair is simultaneously refined,
making the skin texture appear smoother,
and offering the added benefit of makeup applying better.
In other words, Ggeuthan Clinic's Alex Toning is
pigment toning as the main focus,
and fine vellus hair refinement as a plus effect.
You can understand it this way.
Differentiating Factors of Ggeuthan Clinic's Alex Toning
Ggeuthan Clinic's Alex Toning
is not just a basic toning that passes the laser over the entire face once.
We check existing toning response, type and depth of pigment, skin tone, and even vellus hair distribution,
and adjust the output and irradiation method to suit your skin condition.
For pigments that toning fell short on, they become clearer;
for dull tones, they become brighter;
and vellus hair is gently refined,
with consideration for both skin tone and texture.
1. Targeting Pigments Unaddressed by Conventional Laser Toning, Once More
Even after multiple laser toning sessions,
blemishes may remain faintly visible
or the skin tone may still appear dull.
In such cases, rather than repeatedly using the same wavelength,
it's better to match the pigment's location and characteristics.
It may be necessary to approach with different wavelengths.
Alex Toning uses a 755nm wavelength with high melanin reactivity to
target what was lacking with conventional 1064nm toning alone,
surface pigmentation, blemishes, freckles, and hyperpigmentation once more.
2. Concentrated Melanin Targeting with 755nm Alexandrite Wavelength
The 755nm wavelength of Alex Toning
has the characteristic of reacting well to melanin.
By clearly targeting pigments near the skin's surface,
it helps to improve dull and messy-looking skin tone
to appear clearer and cleaner.
If your skin has a mix of melasma, blemishes, freckles, and hyperpigmentation,
rather than simply repeating one type of toning treatment,
choosing the appropriate wavelength for your skin condition is crucial.
3. Smooth Skin Texture by Refining Fine Hairs
Fine facial hairs can
make makeup appear uneven,
make skin tone look dull,
and make skin texture appear messy.
During the process of targeting pigmentation, Alex Toning also
refines the fine hairs on the facial surface,
offering the benefit of smoother-looking skin immediately after the procedure.
It is ideal before an important event,
when you want to address not only blemishes and skin tone
but also improve makeup adhesion.
4. Low-Output, Delicate Toning Tailored to Skin Tone and Pigmentation Status
The more effectively a laser reacts to melanin,
the more likely that strong, indiscriminate irradiation can lead to
redness, stinging, and an increased risk of hyperpigmentation.
Kkeuthan Clinic assesses skin tone, pigment depth, sensitivity, and the presence of redness, then
irradiates in a customized manner for each client.
While targeting pigments more effectively,
we precisely adjust output, irradiation speed, and number of passes
to minimize skin irritation.
5. Combined Toning Addressing Pigmentation, Tone, and Texture Together
The reason skin might appear messy
is not always due to just one blemish.
Blemishes, freckles, hyperpigmentation, dull tone, fine hairs, and skin texture can all combine,
making the overall appearance dark and rough.
Alex Toning focuses on pigmentation but also
takes into account skin tone, fine hairs, and skin texture.
So, beyond general pigment removal,
we manage your entire skin to look clearer and smoother.

Q&A
고객님들이 가장 많이 물어보시는 내용을 모았습니다.
I've had continuous laser toning, but blemishes remain. Can Alex Toning help?
Alex Toning uses a 755nm Alexandrite wavelength with high melanin reactivity to target surface pigmentation that traditional 1064nm laser toning may have missed. If you are concerned about pigmentation located close to the skin surface, such as blemishes, freckles, or post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, you can consult with our medical staff to determine the suitability of the treatment.
Will Alex Toning also remove facial hair?
During the Alex Toning procedure, fine facial hair can be temporarily tidied, which can lead to a smoother skin texture. However, Alex Toning's primary purpose is pigmentation toning, not permanent hair removal. If you desire long-term reduction of fine hair, it's recommended to consider laser hair removal for fine hair in conjunction with this treatment.
